Deluxe Knockdown Single - 3 Hinge & Deadlock Striker

The Deluxe knockdown doorframe is great for those designs which use brick on the lower floor and stud framing on the upper floor. It is very popular for framed houses, especially in country areas as it comes in 3 pieces packed into 1. The mitre system that has been designed allows for each corner of the mitre to be opened and closed fitting the wall, resulting in an accurate and neat mitre joint.

Prior to fitting frames, please unsure that the stud opening are suitable for knockdown frames.

This can be done by following the formula: Add 40mm to your door HEIGHT and WIDTH (single and double door frames only)

Example:
Door Size: 2040 x 820
Stud Opening: 2080 x 860

Door Size: 2040 x 870
Stud Opening: 2080 x 910

Add a further 40mm to your door width for each mullion when using triple, quad and five door combinations.

Note: You must have a minimum 30mm nib on each side of your stud opening to allow for the knockdown frame to be screwed to the studwork.
